TAN SRI DATO’ ZAINOL ABIDIN
BIN ABD RASHID
| Tan Sri Dato' Zainol Abidin bin Abd Rashid, age 61, Malaysian, was appointed to the Board on 22 November 2006 as an independent non-executive Director of Tradewinds. He was then appointed as an independent non-executive Chairman on 21 December 2006. He is also the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. |
Tan Sri Dato' Zainol Abidin holds a Bachelor of Economics (B.Econs) University Malaya; Diploma in Public Administration (Dip. P.A.), University Malaya and Master Development Economics (M.A.), Boston University, USA. He also attended the project planning program at the Bradford University, UK and the Advance Management Training Harvard University, Boston, USA. He served the Government of Malaysia in various capacities including as Director Human Resource Development Section, Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department (1989 - 1994); Director General Manpower Department, Ministry of Human Resource (1994 - 1997); Secretary General Ministry of Human Resource (1997 - 2000); and also as Chief Executive Officer/Director General Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (2000 - 2006).
He does not hold any interest in the securities of the Company or its subsidiaries nor he has any family relationship with any other Director and/or major shareholder of Tradewinds and has no conflict of interest with Tradewinds. He has no convictions for any offences within the past ten (10) years. |

DR. SHARIFUDDIN BIN ABDUL HAMID
| Dr. Sharifuddin bin Abdul Hamid, age 64, a Malaysian, is an independent non-executive Director of Tradewinds. He was appointed to the Board on 26 August 2003 and is a member of the Audit Committee. |
Dr. Sharifuddin obtained a Diploma in Agriculture from College of Agriculture, Malaya, Certificate of Education from University of Malaya and Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, United States of America. He also holds a Doctorate in Agriculture Science from State University of Ghent, Belgium.
He is an expert in agriculture (specialising in Soil Fertility) with 30 years of experience and was attached to department of Agriculture Peninsular Malaysia as an Agriculture Assistant and Agriculture Officer from 1967 to 1974 and the Principal of Institute of Agriculture Serdang from 1974 to 1975. He served Universiti Putra Malaysia for 24 years and held several positions namely as a Lecturer, Senate Member, Head of Department of Soil Science, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Associate Professor and Professor of Department of Soil Science and currently works as a Consultant.
He does not hold any interest in the securities of the Company or its subsidiaries nor he has any family relationship with any other Director and/or major shareholder of Tradewinds and has no conflict of interest with Tradewinds. He has no convictions for any offences within the past ten (10) years. |

SYED AZMIN BIN MOHD NURSIN
@ SYED NOR
| Tuan Syed Azmin bin Mohd Nursin @ Syed Nor, age 44, a Malaysian, is a non-independent non-executive Director of Tradewinds. He was appointed to the Board on 28 September 2005. |
Tuan Syed Azmin holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Business Management from University of Berkeley, United States of America. He has been involved in several private business ventures which included trading in commodities, housing development, manufacturing, stockbroking and international trading.
He joined Timber Master Industries Berhad in 1993, a company listed on the Second Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and was later appointed as an Executive Director in 1994. In 1997, he was appointed as an Executive Director of CN Asia Corporation Berhad and in 1999, he incorporated Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd which undertook one of the Government's electronic commerce projects, ePerolehan.
He currently sits on the Board of Amtek Holdings Berhad, Engtex Group Berhad, Tradewinds Corporation Berhad, United Malayan Land Berhad and several private limited companies.
Tuan Syed Azmin is the brother of YBhg Tan Sri Dato' Syed Mokhtar Shah bin Syed Nor, who holds indirect major shareholding in Tradewinds. He has no conflict of interest with Tradewinds and has no convictions for any offences within the past ten (10) years. |

TAN GEE SOOI
| Mr. Tan Gee Sooi, age 63, a Malaysian, is a non-independent non-executive Director of Tradewinds. He was appointed to the Board on 28 February 2007. |
Mr. Tan graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in electrical engineering. Presently, he is the Executive Chairman PPB Group Berhad.
He also sits on the Board of PPB Group Berhad.
He does not hold any interest in the securities of the Company or its subsidiaries nor he has any family relationship with any other Director and/or major shareholder of Tradewinds and has no conflict of interest with Tradewinds. BAKRY BIN HAMZAH
| Encik Bakry bin Hamzah, age 50, Malaysian, is a non-independent non-executive Director of Tradewinds. He was reappointed to the Board on 9 April 2007. |
He was a former director of Tradewinds from 22 August 2002 to 24 March 2003 before he joined Tradewinds as Chief Operating Officer on 1 April 2003. He was elevated to Chief Executive Officer of the Company on 1 December 2005 until he resigned from the post on 8 April 2007.
Encik Bakry holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from University Malaya. He started his career as Assistant Director of Marketing in Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara (1981 - 1984). He was the Operation Manager of Bukhary Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (1984 - 1987) before joining Juara Niaga Sdn. Bhd. as General Manager (1987 - 1989). Later he served KYD Brake Centre Sdn. Bhd. (1989 - 1993) as the General Manager before becoming the Head, Business Development of Aero Mutiara Sdn. Bhd. (1995 - 2003). He was the Executive Director of Latitude Tree Holding Berhad (1997 - 2001) and former director of Oriental Food Industries Berhad (2002 - 2003), Tradewinds (M) Berhad (2002 - 2003) and MARDEC Berhad (2003 - 2004).
